Currently, marijuana is just available in two formats, 1.5g/3g bags, for anti-inflammatory medical use; needless to say, this launch makes marijuana legalization come into media focus spotlight again.
LIDL STARTS A NEW DEBATE ON LEGAL MARIJUANA ACQUISITION
Cannabis regularization and legalization debate is still controversial, but the number of cannabis legalizing countries is gradually increasing; intense discussions and news appear every day, and Spain is not any exception – Balearic Islands, Catalonia, Bask Country, Valencian Country and Madrid already have marijuana-distributing cannabis clubs, but, in Spain, consumption, possession or growing punishments range from €1,000 to €30,000.
Spanish situation contrasts with Uruguay, Portugal, USA, Holland, Argentina or Canada statements – more permissive legislation, or direct marijuana legalization for all purposes.
Many partnerships justify marijuana marketing for medical and palliative purposes, so these proposals have not gone unnoticed for German food service giant; currently, a trip to Switzerland is kind of expensive, so we have to wait for the initiative to get into our country.
