WHAT IS SPANNABIS?

When we talk about Spannabis, we’re referring to one of the largest cannabis fairs in Europe and worldwide. That’s why at Gea Seeds, we’re proud to announce that, as usual, we will be attending this event, bringing great vibes and the best-priced feminized and autoflowering seeds.

Below, you will find all the necessary information, including the location, schedules, prices, rules, music concerts, and the various events that will take place.

WHERE IS SPANNABIS BARCELONA?

The venue for the fair is the same as last year: the Fira de Cornellà, Barcelona. Specifically, the Fira de Cornellà is located at Carrer Tirso de Molina, 34, 08940, in the Cornellà de Llobregat neighborhood of Barcelona.

DATE, SCHEDULE, AND TICKET PRICE

The new date selected for the fair is March 14th to 16th, 2025—three unforgettable days of celebration and learning. The ticket booths will open at 10:00 AM, with the fair opening at 11:00 AM and closing at 8:30 PM, except on Sunday, when it will also open at 11:00 AM but close at 8:00 PM.

Regarding ticket prices, a one-day ticket costs €24, while a three-day pass is €53—a very reasonable price considering this is one of the most significant events in the cannabis world. These prices apply to tickets purchased at the booth on the day of entry; however, you can find cheaper tickets if you buy them in advance online.

MAIN RULES

First of all, it’s important to highlight that entry is strictly prohibited for anyone under the age of 18. Secondly, smoking is not allowed inside the fairgrounds. Lastly, pets are not permitted to enter the venue.

MUSICAL PERFORMANCES

The following table lists the main musical activities for the 2024 edition; we will expand and update it with new information for 2025 as it becomes available. In addition to concerts, the event also features award ceremonies, exhibitions, conferences, discounts, and giveaways.

AWARDS CEREMONY

As with every edition, Spannabis concludes with an awards ceremony: the Spannabis Champions Cup 2025. This competition recognizes the most innovative exhibitor companies, voted on by hundreds of professionals over the three days of the fair. Spannabis provides an unmatched opportunity to explore the latest developments in the cannabis industry.

The VIP jury will present its awards on March 14, 2025, at 7:30 PM, in the Spannabis auditorium. Meanwhile, the popular jury awards will be held on the evening of March 10, at 9:00 PM, at a venue in central Barcelona, where a private party for all participants will take place.

One of the most prominent events at Spannabis is the 8th edition of the World Cannabis Conferences, held at the Auditori de Cornellà. This is a unique opportunity to hear from renowned figures from around the globe, including scientists, doctors, politicians, and influential cultural personalities in the cannabis world. This event offers an unparalleled chance to stay informed about the latest innovations and scientific advancements in the field of cannabis.

BARCELONA 2020 CANCELED DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS

On March 11, 2020, the health authorities of Catalonia confirmed a ban on gatherings of more than 1,000 people across the region. This emergency measure was implemented to curb the spread of COVID-19 and prevented the normal celebration of the fair. The organizers considered rescheduling the event for September 11th, 12th, and 13th, but it was ultimately canceled entirely.
