Information about Dinafem's Critical Jack

When an expert grower thinks about cannabis mythical genetics, he’ll almost certainly know that Skunk #1, Northern Lights and Haze are among the first four strains; Critical Jack comes from Jack Herer and Critical, with characteristics from the three previously-mentioned cannabis legends – strong, vigorous, productive, powerful strain with surprising organoleptic properties, and resin super producer (ideal for all kinds of extractions). It’s a hybrid plant – 40% indica, 60% sativa.

Vegetative behavior

Very tall plant (up to 3m), very branchy vegetative structure with big side branches getting almost the same light as the central branch (many buds as long, resinous, fat and heavy as the “central truncheon”).

Indoor

Very fast growing and flowering, ideal for SOG/SCROG methods – if properly grown, ready to be abundantly cropped in about 60 days; very commercial plant – up to 625g/sq m.

Outdoor

Warm sunny weather without excessive humidity – up to 1,200g/strain; for cold weather, a greenhouse’s a good option. Very strong against all kinds of pests, totally ready to be cropped by late September; be careful because, up to 3m tall, it could be visible from far away, and it emits a powerful aroma – apical pruning can be a good option to control its vigorous growth.

Organoleptic properties

Fruity aroma and flavor, citric and sweet, with pine-wood notes – cumbersome complex flavors, merged to surprise the greatest sybarites.

Effects

Mind-stimulating, long-lasting, powerful psychedelic effect – you get high as best-sativa high; if avoiding indica physical relax, this is a very good option – ideal for parties and all kinds of leisure artistic activities.

Prizes

Critica Jack de Dinafem was awarded in 2015 with the first prize for the best Shatter, elaborated by Cracker Jack Extractions, in the Hempcon Cup San Bernardino (USA). A year later, in 2016, she was also awarded the first prize in the Exterior Sativa category of the UCLA Cup (Unión Cannábica Latinoamericana).
