Information about California Orange by Dutch Passion
Californian Orange of the Dutch bank Dutch Passion’s never out of fashion – its organoleptic properties and the abundant resin make this strain essential in every grower’s garden (infatuating folks for more than 25 years, from the first hippies to the millions of millennials).
Vegetative Behavior
California Orange’s a very stable hybrid with intermediate characteristics (indica-sativa), but with sativa predominance due to its growth and candelabrum structure.
Indoor
When indoor growing, its growth’s fast and, once the photoperiod’s changed, ready crop in 10 weeks; although sativa predominance, Orange produces hard heavy buds and its structure produces good side truncheons – up to 600g/sq m.
Outdoor
When outdoor growing, it’s a very productive strain, up to 1kg plants, tall with good structure full of compact buds, and usual cropping by mid November if looking for very pressed, ripe buds – for this production, it needs good sunny warm temperatures, abundant water and good fertilizing.
ORGANOLEPTIC PROPERTIES
As its very name indicates, California Orange has a strong unique citric touch – real delicatessen.
Effects
Balanced effect, initially with euphoria before getting sedated on the sofa – good option against depression.
